It's done all I needed it to do September 30, 2008 It's funny how little we think about a memory card yet without it we'd have no digital pictures. This one has done every thing a memory card should do; saved photos until I uploaded them to the computer. It's bigger than I need for my Canon XSi even shooting in RAW but it was perfect for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5A when shooting HD videos. And if it means anything, I bought two.
Fast and large! September 30, 2008 This is a great card. I haven't had any issues with this. It is fast, and hold a HUGE amount of pictures. In large JPG (12.2 mp) on a Canon XSi I can hold over 1200 pictures!!! Im going to run out of computer memory before I run out of card memory! Don't doubt yourself on this purchase, you will enjoy it!!!
Card locked up and lost pictures September 29, 2008 I bought this card due to the price, I have never had any problems with an SD card before and I have had about ten. I had a problem with the card one time but I was just playing around with my camera. I formatted the card and it seemed to work fine. But then when I was taking pictures of something important, it did it again and I had to recover the pictures. I dont want to have to keep recovering the pictures or risk losing pictures I take. Definite Return. I have never posted a review before, but had to after this bad experience.

I purchased the Transend 8GB SDHC Card in the beginning of August. I put it in my digital camera and it seemed to be OK. I didn't need to use the camera until the end of September and when I turn on the camera, I get a card error. Reformatting does not help and since it is past the Amazon 30 day return period, it turns into a throw away. Moral, if you have money to throw away then buy this memory chip from Amazon.
Transcend card September 27, 2008 I've bought a couple Transcend SDHC Class 6 cards in my cameras. It works fine in the Canon Rebel Xsi.
