 Finally a good iPhone headset! October 4, 2008
I bought these for 59 bucks at BuyCheap here on Amazon! Lowest price anywhere and they soung great.My biggest complaint with other iPhone earbuds was the lack of bass.These have just enough without being overpowering.Supports iPhone forward.back,and pause functions as well as a mic for the phone. I would highly recomend for anyone with a 1st or 2nd generation iPhone.

I agree with other users that when this product works it is excellent. However, I have experienced the similar failures of other reviewers. I have had a second pair die on me -- they short out and there is no sound in one ear.
I also own a pair of V-Moda Vibe and they work fine, but of course it is just earphones, not the phone functionality as well.
Unless you do not mind sending them back every few months, buy something else.
Consistent problems September 28, 2008
Quite simply, when they work, they are wonderful. However, both my sons and I experienced the same problems, sound fade or cessation on one side. At such a price: quality control please!
 Good sound with one fatal flaw September 26, 2008
Am on my fourth failed pair. Yep, four. The sound is good. Although the high end isn't as clear as the Etonics, I like the accentuated bass, which I can increase by simply pressing the plug in a bit more snug inside my ear. I also like the tangle free covering, although it picks up static electricity when worn with poly and wool, resulting in a shock that pops in my ears (ouch!). The shock can be overlooked and I would give it four stars if it weren't for the fact that the thin wire breaks near the stress point near the plug. This just happened again for the fourth time. Oddly enough, If vmoda fixes that I would buy another pair.
 1st time failed - 2nd time perfect September 12, 2008
I bought these for my my wife in June 2008 for her IPhone. They worked fine for about 60 days and then the sound became distorted. Songs sounded as if they where in a echo chamber.
Sent the unit back to V-Moda and they sent back a new V-Moda Duo with one slight change, there was a upgrade to the male jack that attaches to the Iphone. Much sturdier "Y" shaped jack that helps you to resist the temptation to pull the cord (instead of the jack) when you disconnect the from your unit.
Sound is wonderful. If this unit fails I will update, but I believe these are a keeper.
