| Customer Reviews:
Made the plunge and couldn't be happier September 30, 2008 I have used many different units while traveling, but the Garmin nuvi 350 was my first purchase of a GPS unit. I could not be happier. Very intuitive to operate for the entire family. Never even opened the instruction booklet.
Garmin 350 is ok September 29, 2008 I got this gps few months ago after I moved to NC. I tested it few times and this is my questions to Garmin: 1. I was driving on the road which is garmin GPS suggested and suddenly garmin told me to make a left turn. and I slow down and looked around. There was not an open entrance on my left but a two lanes traffic. Isn't scary? 2. Garmin cannot find my home address. I know it's a new area but I can locate my home with my iphone. 3. I tried to download new map from garmin.com support. After almost a whole day downloaded, it told me I need find 2000MB space on my pc. 4. I bought Garmin from amazon.com, Garmin.com only provide free service or download if you buy from their official website after 30 days. Hell no.
A lot of features in Garmin GPS you don't really need it. Keep your eyes on the road.
Not ready for easy riding September 28, 2008 This was advertised as offering text to speech. I have yet to determine how to get it to name street names. Mybe there is a way, but I was unable to get help from Garvin on their website and no contact information was available.
This is not a user friendly device.
Great GPS September 26, 2008 This is a very good GPS, easy to use and contains a lot of Points of interest. It is thin and you can take it with you and put it in your pocket when you walk.
Garmin Nuvi 350 September 26, 2008 My Garmin Nuvi 350 is an asset to my traveling. The only problem I find is that REST STOPS are not identified by Road number (e.g. I-75, I-35, etc).
