this is affordable and big enough that for the average user you will NEVER need a second card. Very high speed card that works well with the digital rebel xt on sports modes without slowing down.

This is a great CF card. With my Rebel XT, I had over 500 available pictures. On my recent trip I didn't have to worry about changing CF cards and missing shots. Lots of storage here and quick! It was practically instant write so no delays in shooting pictures. I'll definitely buy more of these 2GB CF cards.

I am quite new to digital photography and recently purchased a Canon Rebel XT (8.0 Megapixels) and a SANDISK 2.0 GB Ultra II CF Card. I debated getting a cheaper card, but after reading many reviews and specs, decided to pay a bit more for the SANDISK card. I am been extremely happy with the card, allowing me to take up to ~700 photos (highest JPEG setting). Furthermore, and probably most impressive, was the fact that I could get 3 shots/sec for ~15 shots total without ever having to stop for processing or lifting my finger off the shutter button. I don't have cheaper CF cards, nor do I ever plan to buy one now that I have seen the performance that this card offers.
