Great Pedometer for the money September 23, 2006 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
I purchased my first Omron pedometer at Wal-Mart online for $29.99 and eventually found the pedometer on Amazon for much less. This is a great pedometer which can be worn or carried in your purse and I purchased two in case I lose one. It is a bit large (approx. 2 7/8" x 2" or 7.3cm x 5.2cm);I clip it to the band on my underwear and it stays in place very well. The memory keeps seven days of your walking activity which facilitates tracking your progess easy. The only complaint I have is the plastic clip on the lanyard breaks easily;I have broken two of them. I suggest the manufacturer finds a more durable plastic to manufacture the lanyard clip or provide a means to buy replacement clips at a very low price.
simply the best September 23, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is the best ped. I've had mine for 2 years now it is quite accurate and easy to use,the only minus is you can't shut it off so the battery only lasts about 7 months,I paid $27.00 at walmart.
I Love this thing September 14, 2006 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I went thru several SportLine pedometers before I got this Omron. They would fall off and cease to work correctly, or work correcly but eat up batteries like crazy. I got this one December 05 and it's worked great since. It counts my steps very accurately - I have walked marked paths and the mileage is almost perfect and it doesn't take but a few minutes to setup. I really love the extra clip so that if the belt clip comes off the pedometer doesn't hit the floor. I weat it most every day plus the 20+ miles I walk a week.
where's the features? September 14, 2006 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
Why is it this big & still limited in features? What about showing speed or steps per minute?
Doesn't work September 5, 2006 12 out of 20 found this review helpful
I ordered a pedometer that was a notch above the cheapest model and even researched the makes and models so that I would get an accurate one. Nope! This thing registers 40-50 extra steps every 100 steps. So, when I wear it (not much anymore!), I have to count all my steps anyway. I tried resetting it, changing where I wear it - nothing works. Blah!
