HJ-112 Pedometer Review July 25, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Finally, a consistant, reliable pedometer that doesn't disappear because I've accidentally dislodged it. I find I'm actually wearing it more consistantly because I trust the information it's recording.
Best ever! July 24, 2006 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
After trying half a dozen pedometers, I looked for the most expensive one I could find figuring that if you get what you paid for, maybe expensive would be better. I was shocked to find that this "expensive" one with great reviews was only 20 bucks. I bought it and have been using it for a couple of weeks. I've tested it on three separate occasions at ten steps, 60 steps, and a hundred steps and it is always within three steps of my manual count - quite accurate. Even after accidentally being put through the washer and dryer it works, but that has to be a fluke. I'm buying another one since I'm afraid it will succumb to the damage it MUST have taken.
Really great pedometer. Buy it. Wear it. Walk it.
Accuracy in Motion July 22, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I found this unit very easy to set up. It gives me exactly what I want in a pedometer. Strides, calories burned, time of exercise and converts the strides to miles. I have had the unit for two months so I cannot comment on its durability or on the life of the battery. But, my guess is, based on its performance to date, I will be pleased in the long term.
Really tracks your steps! July 22, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I'm a sales rep and I wanted to know how much I was walking during the day. I've stuck it on my waste, clipped on my purse strap and put it inside my purse which hangs across my chest or on my shoulder. It worked all the time on stairs and at all the angles it says. It records regular walking as well as "aerobic" walking individually. It only records 'aerobic" if you walk a certain distance and speed. YOU can't cheat with this. It also keeps a record of prior days. Only downfall is that I have to remember to wear it. I'd recommend this one. Oh yes, if you have those cheap ones or free ones, throw them away.
Good Pedometer! July 20, 2006 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
If you are trying to lose weight like me, this is the perfect tool to have. It's easy to read mode tells you how many steps you have walked in a day and has a 7 day memory capacity to tell you what you have walked during the week.
