Works Great, but could be a compatibility issue w/ Lexar 12-in-1 reader July 21, 2005 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have had this 512MB 60x stick for over a month now, and it has performed great, reads and writes very quickly to the stick from my Canon SD-500 7.1 mp camera, even videos that are approx. 70MB in size. When I put it in my Lexar 12-in-1 USB 2.0 reader, it worked the first time and allowed me to transfer photos and videos. After that, however, it would not read the stick again. It would not even read other sticks again until I unplugged the reader from the USB port and plugged it back in. Each time, when I tried the ATP stick, it would not recognize it at all, and I would then have to unplug it and plug it back in again to have it read anything else. I have checked with others, including Steve's Digicam, an industry expert, and haven't heard about any possible issues. Has anybody else had this problem? I recently ordered a different reader and am waiting for it to arrive before concluding who gets the blame. I will do another review after I try the new reader.
Works for Panasonic Digital Camera March 24, 2005 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I had this device since Dec 2004 and had taken over 1,200 digital images with my Panasonic 4 megapix digital camera: DMC-FZ15. I have not yet encountered any problems with this memory card. It is one of the cheapest brands for the hi-speed. I have never filled up 512mb on a digital camera with one battery only about 1/4 of it. I use a 16 in 1 card reader. This is my first SD card and transferring 100-200 images is about 3-7 min. with regular USB, my laptop doesn't have USB2.
Yes it has a generic name but it works and it cheap.
