 You Truly Get What You Pay For August 21, 2008
At ~ 7.00 each, I said "whatever, the reviews are good, and I'll buy 2 and save on the JBuds". Well, that was in February, and 6 months later, I am forced to buy the JBuds because BOTH pairs of Coby's are now non-functional due to normal use. Hard to believe, I know. My actual iPod ones lasted two years, and were of similar sound quality. Buy cheap, expect cheap.

I bought these to use when I exercise. These stay put and never slip out of my ears. They also are light weight and have great sound quality. Very much worth the price.

These are pretty good for the price, they carry the low end nicely but they do distort a bit when your playing bass heavy music. The mid range and high ends sound crisp and clean. You can not go wrong for the price with these little gems. One word of caution the rubber tips can pop off easily.
Beware of Cancer Warning August 15, 2008

We purchased these really comfortable earbuds and were very satisfied on day 1. The problem is, in very very small print on the box Coby warns customers that handling the cord brings you in contact with Lead which can cause cancer. They warn you to wash your hands after use. This was a gift for someone who already suffers from this terrible disease, wouldn't it be nice if these were not allowed to be sold in this country? We returned them.
