This is a wonderful product--a truly portable base for your Street Pilot or Nuvi Series Garmin GPS Navigator. It allows you to easily use your GPS in any vehicle, without using a glue-down mount. I found that the standard glue-down mount will melt in the heat--then it becomes difficult to anchor the unit. This is the perfect solution. It does not slip off of the dashboard or any other surface and you can transfer it to another vehicle, so that the whole family has the use of the GPS as needed. I highly recommend it!
Does exactly what it's supposed to do July 17, 2008
I drive a Honda Civic & it works great on the dash. Easy to adjust with no slipping at all. I've also placed it in the areas over the cup holders, between the shifter and the cup holders and on the edge of the passenger seat. Always stays in place.

Works just fine for me. You can move it around until you find the best place to view the GPS and it never moves.
I only wish I would have gotten it before I mounted the stick-on mount that came with the GPS. (real pain to remove)

This bean bag mount is so much easier to use than the windshield type. I have been using it for over a year with no problems. The mount does not slide and is much easier to move from car to car or to hide when you are not in your vehicle. I would not consider going back to a windshield mount.
