Missing items December 28, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The product works great, after 2 trips to the computer store. It doesn't come with a cable to connect to your computer or any storage devise for the pictures to be saved on. Once you pick up those items you will be all set.
A little disappointed December 28, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
When I bought this I thought it would be a lot nicer than it was. The "plastic" seems very cheap and it says in the directions you can use a USB cable provided to download pictures however this model doesnt include a USB cable. It is a special size so you have to order it from them. Also I was under the impression that you could download photos and the frame would hold them but you have to leave in your memory card from your camera. Not very convinient.I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Don't even bother waste of time and money! December 26, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Got this item for my Grandparents for Christmas I even preloaded pictures on a memory card for them to show them on Christmas day. What a bummer the frame didn't even work. I can't get it to do anything no matter what I do. Support is horrible 6-8 week for replacement!! Save yourself headaches and get some other frame its worth the extra money!
Cant beat the price but manual lacks December 24, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
When your looking at your pic and it is completely the wrong size hit the right arrow button twice and it will go into "full screen" mode.
If you don't know that you will probably be super disappointed by the way none of the pictures ever fit the screen despite if you size them to the "output" resolution.
Good frame for the price. December 16, 2007 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I was a little concerned about this product considering the reviews, but I went ahead and got it anyway. And I am pleased with my purchase. The picture quality is definitely not high definition, but it still works. I found that if I use high quality photos they look pretty good in the frame even at full screen. I put in some that aren't so great quality and they still are viewable. However I did use a photo-editing program to resize and adjust the photos that I used. It is called XnView and it is free to download and again simple to use. I'm not sure what others are saying regarding the set up but I found it extremely easy to use. You put in a memory card hit enter twice and the slid show starts. Considering the price I paid, $69.99, I think it was a good purchase. Of course it is not going to be as nice or have as many options as $200 or $300 frame, but you should expect that considering the cost.
