In researching the cams out there I was supprised that this highly rated cam wasn't the most expensive. The logitech 9000 delivered all it promised and more. Rarely have I ever purchased anything that I can say that of. The proof was in the immediate response from friends upon recieving my video feed through skype and other programs. They all commented on the clarity of my picture. After I had freaked out a few of them with the hillarious effects they were hooked too. The armiture that holds the cam, though simple looking, allows an amazing range of secure positions. Best cam I have ever owned, hands down!!!

Though not very knowledgeable about webcams, Logitech's Quickcam Pro 9000 seemed to have the quaility level and features I wanted. Once it arrived it was easy to install and though a few settings were a bit of a challenge to find in Vista, it was up and running relatively quickly.
I would recommend this product and even offered to purchase it for both my sisters so that we can chat on line and see each other with Skype.

I love this camera! My daughter's family moved several states away after having lived with us while my son-in-law finished his doctorate. I missed my grandkids so bad I could hardly stand it. My daughter and I both purchased this camera/mic. and I have been visiting with them everyday ever since. It is just like being with them. I am a techno-moron, but I set the camera up and installed the software all by myself. It was so easy.
Great Product and a bargain with the rebate September 30, 2008
The camera is simple to set up and use and has an "interesting" stand. Once you figure out the best way to manipulate it, it really is quite flexible.
