the holder is to short to work with the tom tom,it needs to be about 4inches longer.
 Good, but NOT for Tomtom October 1, 2008
I bought this mount from Amazon along with my Tomtom 730. The functionality is great in general: The device is heavy enough to hold large GPS units and the Tomtom's suction cup stuck very well to the mounting surface. HOWEVER, due to the short windshield mount on the Tomtom 730, the bottom of the GPS hits the edge of the weighted holder. Which means you have to tilt the GPS unit up for it to fit! Obviously, the visual alignment is now off, as well as having more glare from the sun coming through the windshield. Great concept, but not right for my Tomtom 730.
 Great addition to your GPS September 30, 2008
This device is simple, yet greatly helpful when using my Magellan GPS receiver. Easy to move and use as needed.It is well worth the price when considering what would happen if theives saw a GPS in your car for their taking. Glad I purchased it.
GPS dashboard pad September 30, 2008
Have used the Bracketron pad with my Garmin for several weeks now and am very pleased with it. It is easy to set up, stays in place and is easy to remove when parking or leaving the car.
Had originally purchased this at Best Buy for $40.00 and before I could use it found it at Amazon for the incredible price of under $12.00. Needless to say I returned the unused one to Best Buy.
GPS Friction Dish Pad September 30, 2008
Works great in both of my cars. Makes the unit more portable for use in multiple vehicles. Can't beat it for the price.
