5 out of 5 stars compact, easy and protecting   April 15, 2008
The case fits the canon A720IS very well. Easy to carry on the bell or by the camera string or put into a backpack. Have a pocket for SD card. The case it kind of hard, so it protects better. I like the compact desigen.

3 out of 5 stars Canon PSC-85 Soft Case - A Hard Sell   April 11, 2008

Canon makes great Cameras so I thought I would try their A series Camera case. Here is the lowdown.
Good: It is a nice neutral color and attractive, it opens quickly and it is Lightweight, Sturdy, and seems to be of good Quality. This really is a very nice looking case.
The Not So Good Surprises For Me: Soft but not soft enough for me. This is made from a stiffish nylon. It does not have any zippers and has no secure fasteners (like locking clips, snaps or buckles), only velcro ensures the case stays shut. It does not completely cover my A650IS. At the top of the case on each side there are openings... the cover just flips down and over the camera leaving gaps at the top sides.
It does NOT have a small extra pocket for that AA battery pack that you should be carrying. If you are after style and a nice looking case with ease of use then this might be for you. If you are looking mainly for praticality and bullet proof protection then you might want to look elsewhere. I was looking for something more on the bullet proof side with room for extra batteris so I relegated this to my desk drawer as a storage case for my old Canon A40.

4 out of 5 stars In general it's OK.   April 9, 2008
I like it, but there is no strup. You can use it with a belt, which is not really what I wanted.

4 out of 5 stars An Excellent Fit for the Canon a720is   April 6, 2008
This case is compact, padded, and durable, and excellent fit for the Canon a720is I got it for. It has a separate, zippered compartment which is just big enough for and extra battery set (2 AA's) and an extra memory chip. I could not need, or ask for more from the case.

4 out of 5 stars Good, but could be better...   April 5, 2008
I bought it for my Canon A570IS - the camera fits fine, with room in pouch for extra batteries and memory cards. Belt loop attachment could be a "clip-on" type for those not wearing a belt.
