A perfect go anywhere case for the Canon G9 July 2, 2008 This is a solidly constructed bag that offers dual foam protection for a larger point and shoot like the Canon G9. Tamrac offers several sizes in this line and there is a link to a helpful fit chart on the homepage of their website (tamrac.com). The G9 fits this bag perfectly.
Perfect for Canon G9 June 10, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have several Tamrac and Lowepro bags. This case is higher quality than is typical for cases this small. I suggest checking the size in person before ordering any bag unless you are sure your camera will fit the way you want it to fit. I can assure you the G9 fits perfectly. The padding is just right to protect without being too bulky. I also love the large velcro flap on the back for attaching to other bags (M.A.S) or a belt. the flap is stiff with strong velcro and also two strong snaps. I also like the way it opens. the top hinges open easily which is important for constant in and out access. Velcro holds the top closed but a strong clip is provided for a beter hold when needed...
Canon Camera case January 19, 2007 The case is a little small if you want to fit anything more than the camera, one memory card and a few batteries. It works just fine for that. However, we wanted something a little larger to carry extra memory and the batteries with the charger. We ended up returning the case and ordering the 5694 instead. It was actually a few dollars less than the 5692 at the time. Both cases are sturdy and well made. The materials and padding are excellent and will protect a camera from almost any damage. By the by, we're using the case with a Canon A710.
perfect bag for the canon powershot A600 series November 10, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love this bag. I carry a powershot A620 in it along with a crucial usb SD card reader, and four spare double AAs. It has rolled out of the car door several times onto the driveway and lands like a pillow. It is snug around the camera and small enough to be no trouble, yet large enough to carry my essentials.
Just what I needed March 22, 2006 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I really like this camera case. I searched everywhere for something inexpensive, small and reasonably well-padded, and this is it. I have the Canon Powershot A620, so my experience is related to that camera only. I'm sure a lot of cameras are similar in size. The camera fits nice and snug inside the case while the extra space will hold at least several more batteries. My camera takes 4 AA, and I would estimate one can have at least a couple extra sets of batteries along with an extra SD card or two. I use my camera for travel when I do historical research, so I liked the small size of the case with the padding. I pack a lot of stuff into my carry on bag, and this fits right in, and I don't worry about it getting banged against my other gadgets in flight or on the road. It's not too thin, and it's not too bulky. It's mainly for carrying your camera around, so if you want something that will also fit your charger and other cords, you will need something bigger. I put the charger and cords in my laptop case because the camera is more more important. It fits just what I need when I am wandering around doing field research because it only fits what you need to carry with you. It's a great product at a great price. I am very happy with it.
