Great bag July 15, 2008 This is a great bag, however, it is not as spacey as I had imagined. I bought the Sony A300, which came with a lens (18 to 70) and I also bought a set of Tamron lenses (28-80 and 75-300) and a set of filters and that is all that fits (apart from the spare battery or memory card that can fit into the front). Of course, for now it is perfect, because we don't need to put anything else in, but when we come to buying something else we'll also have to upgrade to a bigger bag. The quality of the bag is great, definitely recommend it!
Tamrac Explorer 2 DSLR Camera Bag June 12, 2008 Excellent product in a market where there are many to choose. I bought this one because it was the size I needed and the fact that I have used a large Tamrac bag for over 15 years and it is still in excellent condition. They are VERY well made. A very functional and effective bag. My Nikon D70 with a 18 to 200mm G ED VF lens fits vetically with room to spare. It also stores my SB-600 strobe, a spare battery, memory cards and several other items.
Good Value April 5, 2008 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
The camera bag is excellent quality and wiil serve my purpose of carrying all my equipment, although somewhat snugly.
Nice Small Expandable Bag April 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This bag has held up well for me over a year and a half. In the bag a lone, I keep my D50 with 18-135mm lens attached, a Sigma 10-20mm and a 50mm f/1.8 with extension tube attached.
I also added 2 Tamrac M.A.S. lens cases (MX5378) to hold an SB600 and 70-300mm VR. They can attach to the side of the case and they give me quite a few options on what lenses I can carry, how many I want to carry at one time and where I want to carry them in the case.
The bag also has a nice front pocket to hold things like filter, off camera flash cord, etc
Great bag - strap is too SHORT! February 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Unfortunately, all of Tamron's bags appear to have a strap that is too short. Another reviewer (6' tall) had this problem. I'm 6'5" and I really struggle with it. At full extension, the bag rides pretty high on my torso - higher than my elbow, if I have it across my opposit shoulder (over my head).
