1 out of 5 stars DONT BUY IT!   September 6, 2008
0 out of 2 found this review helpful

i bought this xd memory card for my phone because someone had told me how expensive it was in the store and how i would get it much cheaper here. however when it arrived i put it into my blackberry and it wasnt reading that i had a memory card in. i went to the phone dealer to see if it was my phone that was the problem but it turns out that the new memory card i had received from amazon was magnatized and didnt work. after all the trouble i went through to get it, i have to go to a store and buy it for a lot more because i cant trust it to work if i order it online! my one advice would be... DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT! its a waste of time and effort and you can never be sure that it will actually work.

5 out of 5 stars Works Well   September 6, 2008
I purchased this card for my Motorola Q 9c and it works very well. No complaints about it with my phone. When plugging it into my laptop (with the included adapter) under Windows XP, the card doesn't show up as connected to the computer. However, this is not a Windows limitation, but a firmware limitation on my end because Ubuntu Hardy Heron recognizes it just fine. I'm able to use it on my phone with Windows Media Player, contact pictures, custom ringtones, and pretty much anything else. It also works correctly with Windows ActiveSync (as awful as that software is). Good product and I got one of the last two for under $20 too. Kingston is still one of my favorites when it comes to memory.

I put it in my Blackberry and it works just fine. Unlike a camera, you're not inserting & removing the card all the time, so I can't speak to durability. For my intended purpose, it was A-Okay.

5 out of 5 stars Necessary Accessory for Digital Camera   September 4, 2008
Additional memory is inexpensive and well worth the purchase price. Makes a digital camera a valuable tool because it expands your ability to continue to take pictures while away from home. I recently used this expanded memory for my two week vacation in Hawaii and had plenty of picture taking ability. Great accessory that is a must if taking many pictures.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect for Palm Centro   September 3, 2008
Bought one of these (2GB microSD) to put in my new Palm Centro. Works a treat. No issues with card data rate - all my flash-resident apps work as they used to on my Treo650 + full-size SD card. The price of these Kingston microSD cards is ridiculously low. Coupled with my Amazon Prime free 2 day shipping, it's not even worth thinking about buying this kind of item from a bricks and mortar store. I've seen the same thing for three times the price + sales tax!

microSD to SD adapter works fine, but I don't need to use it, since I have 'Card Reader' software installed on the Palm. This allows the PDA to act as an SD card reader via USB or Bluetooth.
