Where are the million machines that Nintendo promised .... November 20, 2006 0 out of 13 found this review helpful
Don't you love it --- NOT !!! Nintendo put out in a press release that they would have over a million consoles to sell- where are these million machines - I guess they're in Marios dreams...
Wii love it! November 19, 2006 15 out of 19 found this review helpful
I love it. We played it as soon as the boys got home. It is worth every penny. It was easy to set up and we had no problems with setting up the sensor bar. Batteries did come with the remote, but I would buy new ones. The Wii Sports game is very cool. The remote felt a little weird, but we worked it out. I loved the fact that you can do so many different moves with your body to accomodiate the characters on the screen. I do not agree with this being a one star item , but hey I'm just a big kid anyway what do I know. If you have kids well, trust me when I say that they will love it.[...]
Delayed Gratification November 19, 2006 1 out of 8 found this review helpful
As I read the posts on this product, I am struck by our generations inability to delay gratification. We've lived without this product our whole lives: Amazon says they will be shipping throughout the holiday season: I think we need to be patient. That said, I am really mad for the kid that waited in line, only to have all the adults take the tickets.
Amazon did in fact sell the Wii today November 19, 2006 1 out of 10 found this review helpful
Yes, it was frustrating. Yes, I stayed up all night. However, that was my choice. Perseverance did pay off. For me anyway. The Wii came and went in a matter of seconds. I clicked to buy, called Mom and Sister (Who was also signed in to Amazon) as I was entering my order and neither of them were able to get one. Amazon, like other retailers, are put in a difficult position when quantities are limited by Nintendo.
