1 out of 5 stars All that glitters...   June 18, 2008

...is not gold.

The Wii is undoubtedly an evolutionary advance in video gaming. However, in spite of all the hype and the manufacturer and secondary market manipulation, it is still a video game system.

All successful video game systems must have solid games. Only a very small portion of Wii games are worth anything at all. I mean if you want to play a Hannah Montana or Petz game, then this is definitely your system.

Sooner or later people will realize what a superficial system this is.

Save your money.

5 out of 5 stars Best invention ever? YES.   June 18, 2008

I've heard about the wii for so long, and have been so curious since those "wii would like to play" commercials.. but have never been that into video games.. except pokemon. But never played it or even really had the urge to. But being home so much, and having nothing to do I figured it might be a good idea to have something to do, and I heard it keeps you from being a couch potato, which I am.

So I was on the search for a wii, got one the next day.
SO GLAD I DID!
I haven't slept in one day since I got it, and no one can honestly call me a couch potato anymore.
I play for hours and hours, and I believe it's worth way more than it's out for, no wonder why they are so hard to get!
Plus, my whole family loves to play, while we are playing we aren't arguing, just having tons of fun, and always on the search for more games.

The wireless controllers are really handy.

Basically, best game system ever.
Don't pass up the chance to buy one!

5 out of 5 stars I love the Wii, but hate that they can't keep it in stock.   June 16, 2008

Why can't they ship enough of these so you can actually find one and buy it! I'm not going to camp out at a wallmart or other store to get one right when the shipment comes in for the week. I'm a very frustrated nintendo fan and wish they would supply enough for the U.S. demand.

When I first got the game, I can not stop playing it. Later on, I got a wii fit, and it was great! I plan to buy some more for friends and parents.
