2 out of 5 stars Doesn't work for me   March 27, 2008
After swapping in the Nyko wireless sensor bar, my Wii cursor becomes choppy and tends to jump all over the screen. It's no help adjusting the remote sensitivity in Wii settings - I couldn't get the two flashing dots at any sensitivity level. I had to swap back the wired Wii sensor bar.

Perhaps I've received a defective unit. I've contacted Nyko support by email and has yet to heard back.

The two stars I give are for the its good looks and the ease of use. I would have given this a 5 star if only I could get it to work.

5 out of 5 stars sensor bar   March 6, 2008
This is so much easier to use than the wired bar. very convenient and easy to take with you on the go.

2 out of 5 stars not worth the hassle   March 4, 2008
the sensor bar is a great idea letting people that keep their wii away from the tv do so without the problem of the cord showing. unfortunatly the cost will continue to rise for you constantly using batteries. this product uses 4 aa batteries to power itself. the most play i've gotten from it is about 24-36 hours without the need to replace them. there is no warning that you need to replace them only a sever drop in range of the playing area and you have to stand directly in front of it for it to continue to work. overall a great aftermarket add on if you can afford to keep replacing batteries or if your not the hard core gamer. stick with the sensor that came with it.

4 out of 5 stars Could have been a better product   March 4, 2008
While this item worked as intended, it could have been made better. First, if it had some type of external power adapter, it could be mounted permanently. I was going to mount it above my projector screen (the sensor came with Wii was mounted above plasma TV in other room). However, it would be very difficult to replace the batteries if I did that.
Secondly, the lights were not far enough apart for larger screens. I have a 125" projector screen, and the sensor would work farther than 10 to 12' away. It is not easy to play that close to a large screen. All they had to do was make it expandable like a telescope.
Eventually, I ended up putting the sensor in the other room, on top of the LCD TV.

5 out of 5 stars Good product   February 28, 2008
Very good quality product. I was worried an aftermarket product might be cheaply made and in fact am suprised that it is better made in my opinion than the original. Had for about a month now, and batteries still work fine.

Very easy setup considering there was no setup. Take out of packaging, put in batteries, turn it on and it works. Range is excellent as well, blue light that some have mentioned is bright, but unless you plan on playing while asleep in bed, it should not matter. Auto off feature is nice to for saving on batteries.
