4 out of 5 stars great system but not the best   July 6, 2008

i own both the xbox 360 and the ps3 and have had fun with both but the ps3 is the superior console. the graphics on both consoles are amazing, i can't say if either one is better in that field. other than that the ps3 has a lot more to offer such as, blu ray player, internet browser, bigger hard drive, and free online gaming. xbox 360 offers great gaming and cool tv episodes and movies you can download(for a price) but not much else. they even charge you for online gaming(about 8 bucks a month). my xbox 360 has been collecting dust since i bought my ps3. you should just pay the extra 50 dollars and get a ps3.

5 out of 5 stars Durable!   July 6, 2008

I don't usually do reviews, but this deserves a few words. I recently purchased the 360 even though I was skeptical at first. It does have the falcon chip which supposedly reduces the likeliness of experiencing the dreaded 'RRoD.' What I found AMAZING was that it fell from a 4 foot high ledge (got hit three times on the way down) and still works FLAWLESSLY (not even a dent). Kudos Microsoft. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, seeing that it comes with a 3-year warranty from Microsoft, so if anything goes wrong, they'll gladly repair it free of charge.

1 out of 5 stars Pure Junk - hardware unreliable - total dookie   July 5, 2008

I purchased a system - went to use it the very first time and the DVD drive wouldn't even open - this thing is a total piece of &*%#. Don't waste your money buying one of these pieces of junk - I'm hoping I can return mine, sell off the games I bought and go buy a Playstation 3 - this system reeks - if you want something that's going to definitely breakdown, then this pice of junk is the ticket - maybe you can save some time and just take a match and set your money on fire, because if you buy one of these pieces of junk, it'll end up that way ..... garbage - complete and total garbage.

2 out of 5 stars I do not suggest   July 5, 2008

ok well the xbox 360 had a rough start with the RROD issue and it just might start getting rougher. even though microsoft for the most part has fixed the RROD problem the game lineup for 2008-2009 is signifigantly week with the only games possibly comming out being gears of war 2 and halo wars and being only $50 less then the more powerful and better looking ps3 which has a very intense game lineup for 2008-2009 i do not suggest the xbox 360
