 Fun game June 30, 2008
The game is as much fun as any other in the series, but it's definitely a lot more difficult with the wheel apparatus. If you want to do as well as you do in the older games, I recommend using the Remote/nunchuck combo or even better, the Gamecube controller. The wheel is fun because of the novelty of it, but it's nearly impossible to do as well (at least for me).

Our whole family enjoys Mario Kart. We were hooked after trying it out at a video store. The wheel is only used by my youngest son(8). The rest of us are fine without one. We like this game as a family MUCH better than the Nintendo Brawl game. My boys like Brawl but as parents we just never saw the fun in that one.

I purchased this game for my brother's graduation gift and he loves it. My sister and I already have our own copies. They're in NC and I'm in MD, so we use the wi-fi option and race eachother on weekends. We love it!!
Hands down the funnest Wii game for our family June 30, 2008
This game has been such a blast for our family. Even our four year old loves it and can now finish a race. Its fun to change it up. some times we compete on the same team and other times we compete against eachother. Good family fun!
Wii Wheel June 30, 2008
The Wii concept is revolutionary. Donkey Conga drum controllers and Duck Hunt gun controllers were hints of the future, but Nintendo Wii made the giant leap of faith to build an entire library of games that require movement. The Wii wheel controller will be just one of many Nintendo (and competitors who will catch up with them) innovations that are still come. My kids and their friends love the addition level of interaction that the wheel overs. Cool!
