Handy little jump drive July 31, 2007 It's small and sturdy and works reliably. The cap is held on by a very tight rubber strap that fits in a groove running around the edge of the drive. This prevents accidentally losing the drive if you hang it on a key chain.
A good jump drive January 10, 2007 This is the second jump drive I have purchased because the first one was hassle free. It last me 2 years, saving items, such as photo, messeges and notes from internet for research topics. However, the only thing is the rubber cover on the jump drive as everything it wear after a while. But the jumpdrive still works good.

Like the others, I believed this was a very good product. At first I was sceptical, but when it accidentally went through the washer and came out working like a champ I knew it was solid. I saved all my documents and pictures on it knowing it would be secure. WRONG!!! Used it at Kinkos and when I tried it again I got a message: "Disk is not formatted". Within four months of buying it I lost all data and there appears to be no way to retrieve it. BCIS 101: BACK UP YOUR FILES FREQUENTLY!!!
Great even this time January 18, 2006 This is my second purchase of a Lexar JumpDrive, because I was so satisfied with the first purchase. Their online support was excellent and they helped me through the arduous task of downloading the correct driver, plus the appropriate WinZip software because one of my computers was so old. Great product, highly recommended.
Great way to lose all your data!! January 17, 2006 I've had two Lexar jump drives which have both failed after less than 1 year of use. In both cases, I lost ALL data on each. Before they failed, I thought they were wonderful - in fact I carried my ENTIRE professional data and document base in one of them. They were wonderful until they failed. Lexar offers no method to salvage the data. They offered to send me replacements if I send the drives back - drives which still contain sensitive and irreplaceable data. What a bargain, I get a replacement after losing everything. If you insist on buying Lexar jump drives, back them up daily!! They can fail without warning.
