great user friendly product. but would be more useful if there was a security feature on this so that no one other that the user could access what is on the drive.

4 out of 5 stars very good and satisfying except one   October 3, 2005

large capacity and pretty fast reading..
except that it becomes hot if you use more than an hour..
it is not too hot to touch, but still worry...

except that, everything is perfect. affordable price for 2GB large drive..

I had my laptop in my client's office and they wanted me to send them a few files. I also had this product newly received from Amazon and unopened. So, insteading of bothering with e-mail, I figured I'd try it. I opened the package, stuck the drive in my Powerbook, the icon popped up, I dragged the files into the folder, removed the drive and handed it to my client. She popped it into her computer (a desktop Mac) and dragged the files out.

How many times does technology actually work the first time? And right out of the box too?

Just make sure none of your file names have /s (backslashes) in them. It doesn't seem to like those, but I think that is a PC thing.

I have no idea if this is a good buy, but it had the most memory I could find in my two second search and I am perfectly happy with it. Granted, I have had it all of one day.
