flash drive April 26, 2008 I think the Kingston Data Traveler 1 gb usb flash drive is great, have not had any problems. I would buy another one in a heartbeat if I needed to.
a blessing April 21, 2008 I used to save everything to floppy disk. Now, with most of these new computers coming out with no A: drives, I was starting to feel 'slighted'. Then I discover the usb flash drive at a church meeting and they were using one to put the treasurer's report on so she could 'pop' it into the pastor's laptop to display them. I was told they are replacing the 'floppys'. when I found out what you can store on 1 disk I was thrilled! My first was a 512MB one. I have stored 3 or 4 photo albums, 1 folder of my 'writings', and probaly about 9 songs on it--AND I STILL HAVENT USED UP HALF OF IT! Now I have this 1GB that I still havent used yet. THEY ARE TRULY A MIRACLE OF SCIENCE!-- (SO TINY YET SO MUCH MEMORY!)
simple to use April 7, 2008 No applications to install first time users found it to work just like a floppy disk.
Good, durable product March 29, 2008 I've bought three of these drives, and, so far, knock on wood, I'm quite satisfied. They've survived rough treatment on a construction site, handle data transfers well, and they're a quick and easy way for me to move information between my desktop and laptop, as well as among my colleagues. The one I carry in my shirt pocket has taken a bit of a beating, and continues to work well, so far.
A lot simpler than fighting my way thru CD-ROM, DVD, and the 5- or 10-MB limit on e-mail attachments. Also, a quick and easy back-up if I don't have an external hard drive nearby.
Great little product - goes everywhere I do. March 27, 2008 Bought this a few weeks ago and have been thoroughly using it. Great performance and durable casing. It goes everywhere I do and I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a flash drive without spending a fortune.
