Perfect little drive May 31, 2008 This is my second Cruzer Micro. I have had the 4 GB version for about 6 months and loved it so much I bought this one for my wife. I have it attached mine to my key chain and carry it at all times. Since it is so light and small there is no draw back to carrying it everywhere.
There are only two small negatives to this product, but neither were big enough to keep me from buying a second drive. The plastic it is made out of feels a little weak, but it has made it has held up very well. The painted on print has almost completely worn off from rubbing up against keys.
All in all, this is a very good product and I highly recommend it.
Great product... May 21, 2008 This is a really good product...but unfortunately i lost it within 2 days...so far i lost 2 of these...so beware!
Cruzer Delivers Consistently High Quality May 21, 2008 This is my 3rd Cruzer. Each and every one works flawlessly. The retractable USB is great and you don't have to worry about losing the cap.
I highly recommend this product.
Annoying and Poorly Made April 8, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this 2 GB Cruzer Micro about a month ago, and thought for a while that it was a good compact thumb drive for a few hours. It was at that point that I began to realize the numerous annoying intrusions of the U3 software that comes pre-installed. As far as I can see, the software contains a number of vestigial programs such as games, Skype (available through their website), and others. Whereas a traditional thumb drive is recognized instantly by Windows, the U3 takes time to open up meaning that you have to suffer through an unnecessary pause every time you want to get at your files. Windows already automatically opens thumb drives, and the little icon in your tool tray that you use in order to stop the device is convenient enough. Why does Cruzer feel they need to make these things redundant? The worst part, though, was that while the zip drive was open and I stepped on it (not hard I swear!) it suddenly stopped working. It was only by wiggling the plug back and forth that I could get it to open. As someone who practically lives off my thumb drive, this was enough to drive me crazy. Do not put your valuable data at risk by buying this device!
