5 out of 5 stars A great drive   June 11, 2008
This is a great drive. I bought it when I noticed that Best Buy had mismarked its price and was selling it for around $5. I've had it for about a year during which it has accidentally gone through the washer and dryer once and been run over by a bike tire (I'm an active person.) The good news is: the drive still works!

The read and write speed aren't something to write home about but the drive is fairly fast. I mostly use it to transfer installer files and 600-700MB ISOs. The write times are considerably faster than when I use my Kingston and I can burn from an ISO on the drive without noticing much of a speed difference.

I've been very happy with this drive and have bought the 4GB version since I need more space.

2 out of 5 stars only worked for 8 months   May 27, 2008
I purchased this product 8 months ago and use it regularly to backup my microsoft money data, well now it doesn't work "device has malfuntioned" so I have to get another one, will definitely purchase a different product for the second one.

3 out of 5 stars Small, but slow!   February 15, 2008

In terms of size, this thing is great. Fits easily on a keychain and in your pocket.

However, the trade-off for the small size is that it's SLLOOWWW. We're not talking like 5-10% slower... we're talking significantly slower than any other USB 2.0 drives. In fact, the speed of it feels closer to a USB 1.1 device.

So if you need something strictly to hold some small files that you need to carry around and use infrequently, then it's fine. But if you plan on using this to transfer large files fairly regularly, I would highly recommend against it.

5 out of 5 stars Fits in your wallet   February 10, 2008
I probably have about 15 USB flash drives and this is the only one that I can say is always around when I need it. It is so small it fits in my wallet. The transfer rates are slower than the other drives but if you are looking for a device that you can literally carry around with you without worrying, this is it.

5 out of 5 stars Great to use in the car stereo   February 7, 2008

I bought the Micro Vault Tiny to store music and playback in the car. I have a head unit with a USB port and I didn't want a flash drive that would stick out of the unit and get in the way. I played with USB extension cables but I didn't like the additional clutter from the wiring.

The Micro Vault Tiny sticks out less than an inch so it doesn't get in the way of the other controls or risk being damaged accidently. The Tiny is simply a great design for this application!
