| Customer Reviews:
Good SD card June 1, 2007 I ordered this and have been using it for about a week with my new Nikon D80. Absolutely no problems getting the card to work (quickly) on the camera. It doesn't work with my computer's SD slot (which works with other cards), but that isn't a big issue.
Overall, good card.
Disappointed by a DOA Chip May 31, 2007 4 out of 8 found this review helpful
I purchased one of these 4GB chips and it arrived after almost a week of waiting, DOA. I am disappointed, but "stuff" happens. I don't know if it's a quality issue or just one bad chip. I tried it in my camera and 2 computers and it wouldn't work in any of my equipment.
Great buy May 29, 2007 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this card to use on a trip to Alaska and had more than enough room for my pictures spaning 10 days. I took about 300 pictures and still had room for a few more hundred! I probably could've taken more pictures, but for personal use, this card was an excellent buy!
A great price for a fine 2GB SD card May 29, 2007 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
I wanted to add TomTom Navigator to my Treo 650 cell phone. Nav6 uses 1GB for the entire map of North America, and I like to keep a lot of books to read so I really wanted at least 2GB of memory. I've had other Kingston memory products before and liked them. These cards are great; now both our Treos have solar powered GPS, and maps of Canada and US.
Another Taiwan junk card, Kingston 2GB-S May 28, 2007 7 out of 15 found this review helpful
The Chinese and Taiwan SD cards have been bad for years, yet companies like Kingston and plenty of others still are selling them as OEM's. Check the forums for the plethora of problems people have. If you want to be frustrated by the pictures you have taken on your vacation being corrupt and unuseable, then get one of these cards. If on the otherhand you want to be able to use and enjoy the pictures you have taken, then get one from Japan. How do you know you have a Japanese card? It says so on the back, and the manufacturers won't tell you or just don't know as it depends on where they got the latest batch from. Shameful junk and a company like Kingston should really know better. Avoid like the plague unless you know its origin.
