gotta love creative zen! January 3, 2008 The Creative MP3 players are great! I have 4 of them in my family and love every one. No need to use software or music download sites, just plug it in and it shows up like a hard drive on your computer. You can then just drag and drop files to it, uplug, and go! Its that easy. Great sound quality, and easy to use. What more could I want?
A Great MP3 Player January 2, 2008 The Creative Zen Stone 1 GB MP3 player is a great little device. It's simple to use, tiny and has crystal clear sound quality. I also use it to listen to audio books and it is the easiest audio book player I've ever used. I would highly recommend this product. The downside is the price of the accessories. I think they could be more reasonably priced. Other than that, buy one, you'll love it!
Simple to use, high quality January 1, 2008 I read about this product in a NYT "Best gadgets under $50" gift idea list. They said it was cheaper than an iPod shuffle and held more songs. I bought it for my boyfriend for Christmas and found it was exactly as advertised.
It comes with everything you need: the cord to connect it to your computer as well as earbuds, and the software you need is easily downloadable from the company's website. Even if you don't know much about computers, you can use this.
I'm old enough that I want tech things to be simple and reliable - I don't need every bell and whistle, I just want my mp3 player to play music and not give me any grief. And if it doesn't kill me price wise, that's ideal. That's what this gives you. I liked my boyfriend's so much, I'm probably going to buy myself one soon.
Give it to kids and don't feel like a bad parent. December 27, 2007 With a 6 year old wanting to keep up with classmates this is a wonderful little MP3/WMA player with a great volume limiter. Fill it with Hannah and High School Musical and let them go. Also great for digital children's books.
Great little MP3 Player December 25, 2007 I got this after doing some research on small, flash-based mp3 players that I could go jogging with. I have a 30gb iPod but was concerned with all the bouncing it did while I ran. These zen stones got good reviews. So far, it's great. It charged up faster than I expected and all I did was drop files into a "Music" folder. While it is disappointing that it does not support OGG format, I expected it from reading the specs. Also works flawlessly with Ubuntu. The color of the player is much better than in the picture. It really is a cute lime green, not so much a fluorescent yellow color as depicted.
