The card is great, but maybe not the seller August 28, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
The card comes with a little keychain bag for extra cards, which is very nice, and the plastic case that holds the card itself is really small, just fits the card where some have a lot of space around the card. This makes it much easier to fit into my little camera case so I always have a spare card with me. SanDisk is pretty reliable and this card seems to be no exception. It's really fast. I'm using a 12mp point and shot camera and there is no noticeable lag between shots. I haven't used the software that comes with it, but it's suppose to help recover lost photos; so I'm giving the software to my cousin (who is always misplacing his photos). This retail package is great. Not much, if any, more expensive than the card alone and you get so much more. Now the dealer is a little different story. I ordered two of the same card, but they sent me one of these and one Compact Flash. I was time pressed to send in my UPCs for a rebate, yet the Adorama wanted me to return the card they sent me incorrectly , wait until it was logged in and credited to my account before they would send me the correct card. They are in NY and I'm in CA, so we could be looking at weeks. Of course the rebate would no longer be available. I gave them my credit card number so they could charge me if they didn't get the card back (which I didn't like in the first place, since I now become responsible for paying for their mistake if it didn't reach them) and even then they would not send my the card I paid for, so I could make the rebate on time. I was pretty disappointed. So I canceled the second card, I'm returning the card they mistakenly sent me, via UPS and hope they get it so I don't have to pay for it.
Just buy it already August 24, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Excellent memory card. I use it in my Panasonic TZ5 digital camera. Transfering pictures from the card to the computer is lightning fast, especially compared to Olympus xd cards. Prices are pretty good too and coming down all the time as well. Absolutely worth the money.

This card is very fast. Transfers to PC using USB 2 Port are quicker than I could have imagined.
Must buy for the serious photographer July 31, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
For the professional photographer or the serious (obsessed) amateur this card is a must buy. You really can't beat the price/value ratio here. This is a fully certified Class 6 card which ensures a data read/write of 20MB/s (Class 6 is the fastest type in the SDHC profile). In fact I like these cards so much this is my second one, I have a 4GB of the same kind. If you use it with a point-and-shoot camera this will definitely be overkill but you can rest assured that it won't let you down. Great product by SanDisk.
Note: Most of us know this is a SDHC card not a regular SD. Regular SD cards are limited to 2GB, if you see a SD card that states a higher capacity be aware that it is essentially a "hack" and the card will not be reliable. I've read horror stories of entire projects gone down the drain because of those cards. 4GB and above will always have to be SDHC; therefore they will be capable of working ONLY with SDHC compatible devices.
