Great buy for the money October 6, 2008
This external HD was smaller and sleeker than I thought it would be and to be so small it has a lot of storage space. I bought if for my son to use with his Mac Apple computer and he loves it. He is able to store all his music and homework stuff for college on it and keep his computer free to run at optimum speed. Great buy for the money!
 Reliable Drive for the money October 6, 2008
Decent drive for the money, and pick any color you want. Odd that the different colors are different prices day-to-day though. Only bad thing is the drive doesn't have a power switch on it so to truely power it down you have to unplug it.

Many of the other reviews here note how simple this product is. That's the best part about it. You plug it in, decide whether or not to install the pre-loaded software, and then just use it. This is a no-frills device that does what it says it does. The best part is that it's USB-powered to no other cables are needed other than the USB, and the speed of data transfer seems to be find for the casual user. I backed up most of the contents of My Documents (about 40 GB) and it took about 1.5 hrs. Excellent product.
Small size, BIG storage October 5, 2008
This device is perfect for those needing to carry large amounts of data, or as a backup device. Easy to use and lightweight, this device performed flawlessly during an long trip out of the country.
