5 out of 5 stars Great data storage   June 21, 2008

I bought this for my Asus eee pc. I bought it to store music so I wouldn't have to use up the internal memory. It holds a lot - I'm not sure how much because I haven't filled it up yet, but I have over 50 cd's on it and there's still plenty of room. I hope Kingston comes out with a 16 or 32 gb flash drive soon, though. I have way more music than 50 cds. :)

The price is good & I haven't had any problems.

5 out of 5 stars True value for money   June 13, 2008

Fast, compact, reliable, and quite robust....
This is true value for money from a longstanding champion (kingston) in its arena (memory wars)...
I've yet to be disappointed.

2 out of 5 stars Good value for space, but slow   June 9, 2008

If your main need is to have something that can make 8 GB of files portable, then this is a pretty good value. If you are looking to use Vista's ReadyBoost function, this drive is too slow. If you are looking to run applications off the drive (like Portable Firefox or Disk Utilities), it is also incredibly slow - and you'll probably want to look for something that has faster rated reads and writes.

For my needs, this turns out not to have been the right drive. For you, well it depends on what you're using it for :-)

It's cheap, it has a lot of free space and looks like every flash drive else :D

Also it's Kingston! :P what else you can need?
