Not so intuitive for MS Money users October 18, 2007 3 out of 9 found this review helpful
I have put off using Quicken until I have available time to do so. As a MS Money user, and novice to Quicken, I have found troubles in understanding its features, and how to register information. Perhaps because it is too easy, and I am more used to MS difficult way of doing things.
Works great! October 18, 2007 6 out of 11 found this review helpful
Upgraded from 99Delux by necessity (Vista Compatability). Combined with Pocket Quicken this is a great way to have your financial info at your fingertips. The software is very easy to configure and use, handles both personal and business finances.
buyer beware October 10, 2007 21 out of 22 found this review helpful
resource hog; download format not supported by many financial institutions; will crash when when trying to load from desktop ie: click on icon (they are aware and working on problem ?!) unstable when trying to move around within program (screen jumps around like a gremlin on speed has taken over key board; each upgrade while they might add a few new options other actives become more difficult to complete not easier. nice auto fill for checks still works. if you buy backup, backup, backup. Does not Import data from all banks October 7, 2007 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
Quicken changed its format after the 2004 version and stop importing QIF files. Quicken also will not import excel spreadhseets into credit card and checking accounts. MS Money will import information from more banks than Quicken. Before buying ensure your bank exports the quicken data using the lastest Quicken format - Web Connect File, not QIF.
2008 Still has printing problems October 6, 2007 19 out of 20 found this review helpful
Don't bother to upgrade to 2008 if you are hoping to resolve your printing problems. They aren't fixed and I've been told by Tech Support that the problem with printing the reconciliation report, which occurred with the 2007 version "is a known problem and will be fixed soon." Same story we heard months ago, and isn't fixed with 2008 Premier Edition.
