| Customer Reviews:
Worth every penny April 5, 2008 I have used Turbo Tax for several years. I know that we have saved hundreds in taxes over the past several years with turbo tax and deduction finder.
I used another program a couple of years ago and it did not measure up to Turbo Tax
Great Product April 5, 2008 This is the second year that I have used Home and Business Turbo Tax. It is an excellent tool and very easy to use.
turbotax sucks! April 1, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I will do my taxes on paper next year. I have used turbotax for many years and it seemed adequate. But, the price keeps going up and the ease of use and capabilities of the program keep going down. I don't know if it is just the online version that sucks or if the cd-rom version is also bad, but I found I could no longer view my data entries on a virtual 1040, so I could not appreciate what my paper 1040 looked like and what my entires were. The software is totally obtuse. I will never use turbotax again. At least on paper I can see what's going on and check it to see if it is correct, which I now found I was unable to do with turbotax.

This years version of Turbo Tax was a great dissipointment. We are inclined to go to a pro next year.
Quality takes a nosedive March 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I entered a considerable amount of data for my 2007 returns over 4 hours. TurboTax returned a message that it couldn't save my return -- sometimes that happens after you print from TurboTax. Then it crashed with an internal error. My previous work was gone when TurboTax restarted.
I have been using TurboTax since 2003. The 2006 version had some minor malfunctions, but didn't fail to save data, and didn't crash. Check the reviews of Quicken -- it looks like Intuit is losing its grip on software quality.
Do frequent saves, and track your work in case you need to re-enter everything.
