Came with a present September 1, 2008 I bought fallout collection for 20$ its a great game for pc but it came with a present a virus this was probably becuase i bought it used but it litterally killed all the games on my computer except halo i would reccomend this game to people just make sure not to buy it used
pretty good August 28, 2008 I mainly got this for the tactics game. Other family members love fallout 1 & 2. It does have a few issues crashing with XP, but so far tactics does not. Tried to find a patch for 1&2 online without any luck. Overall I am happy with the game considering that it's running on XP, instead of the OP it was designed for.
DO NOT BUY FOR A LAPTOP August 16, 2008 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
Buyer beware. Apparently this game will NOT work on laptops. I have a laptop, and I've had no problems with the previous two games I've bought for it (Morrowind and Jedi Knight II). After being really excited for Fallout 3, I decided to buy the Fallout Collection--although, not without hesitation because I've had a history of problems with trying to PC game. As it turns out, I should have listened to my hesitations because this game doesn't work. On-board graphics (whatever that means) are not compatible with this game, and most laptops have on-board graphics, which I discovered after consulting the support information for this game. I'm fairly pissed, and I'm reminded of the reason I play games on consoles. Although I'm only out $20, I would have rather spent the money on something else--like my Fallout 3 reservation, or some beer. You have been warned.
wow i found a good game. July 20, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
this game is sweet good story but the first one's story is kinda dumb here it is the world was in a war and nukes went off they made vaults to protect every one you find out that your vaults water is going to run out in 150gamedays u can make it 250 by buying water but after you get the water and kill the big bad mutans u get back just so u can get kicked out of the vault i cant tell all the story [spoilers] but all of the games are relly good.
Not bad May 31, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
It's not a bad game, but I can't get into it much. Fallout 1 suffers from blackouts on XP (I've tried every fix listed online, so I'll probably have to run a virtual machine with Win 95 or something), but Fallout 2 can run on XP fine. I'm about 3 hours into it, though I don't care for it too much. I personally prefer Diablo 2, though Fallout allows much more interaction with the environment.
Check out no mutants allowed for the patches and stuff for the game.
