5 out of 5 stars Great Game   July 10, 2008

5 out of 5 stars Unbelievable Deal   July 5, 2008
If you're looking to play World of Warcraft, the Battlechest is really the only viable option. The Battlechest is the same price as only the expansion pack, and it also includes the original game, with a separate CD key that will be required if you ever want to make a second account or something.

Great buy, great game.
Just be careful of how much time you spend playing it!

3 out of 5 stars Not really an MMO   June 27, 2008

This is a fine RPG where you occasionally meet other people, but it's not really an MMO game. My main reason for saying that: You have no way of actually changing the world. Destroy an entire village, come back later in 15 minutes, and it's all the same. No way of leaving your mark. You go back and forth running quests all day; you'll likely revisit each single location about 10 times with no difference except something new to find or kill. Kill an enemy who is the object of a later quest you haven't yet acquired, and you'll have to go back and kill him again. Given it takes 5-10 minutes to go virtually anywhere (or get back to your body when you die), this game is designed to suck your time away with little reward.
I spent two solid weeks playing it and got to level 33. Got more powerful, went to new places, joined a guild, followed every quest and did lots of things to "change" the world. Now I've quit playing, and who would even notice?
Aside from all this it's very well designed and put together for the most part. If you like RPGs you'll probably enjoy this game quite a bit. Personally it's not worth a monthly fee to me.

5 out of 5 stars greatly addictive and super fun   June 22, 2008
I played the trial acc twice and i was so hooked into the game i decided to order this!!!! Its greaat i play it for about 4 hours a day and suprisingly im not bored which i usually am. So if you want good value for your money buy this cos its like half as cheap as buying it all sepratly (sorry i cant spell) hope you find this as fun as i did and also remember to buy the next expansion (wrath of the lich king)

5 out of 5 stars WoW   June 19, 2008
I have had one friend beg me to play this game online for years. Then my brother started playing. I finally caved and tried out the trial. I'm hooked. Not only is this a fun game, but w/ voice chat I get to talk friends and family for free while we play together. I can honestly say it's helped me bond with my brother and we now have a better relationship because of it.
