Great buy October 30, 2008 I bought this for my mom and she loves this game. She stays up late playing it.
A Challenge October 22, 2008 This game adds some real twists to Mahjongg. All the games are time limited and that really adds a quick think aspect and challenege to the games. I like the idea that, if during the adventure you use up all your lives, you start at the same point you left off, but your score is simply reset to zero.
pretty cool June 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
this is a nice quest. layouts are a bit of a challenge. and there is no shuffle. has a story that goes along with the completion of layouts. nice graphics.
An answer to insomnia.......not to mention, addictive! April 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I didn't know what to expect having just learned how to play mah jongg with 3 other players, but I must say this game is very helpful in learning and remembering tile names. I also bought this game for my sister who was recuperating at home after surgery. She has enjoyed the game too, especially while being confined to an upstairs bedroom.
Give Me A Break March 29, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
When you buy a game, you expect to have fun and play the game for a good, long time. In the case of this Mahjong based game, you must be prepared to 'hit a wall'. There will come a time...long before you have gotten very far into the story...when the game will become IMPOSSIBLE TO PLAY.
I have played Mahjong in several versions for several years, but I have never found one that has NO SOLUTION. To make matters worse, the hints are worthless at that point. Your choice will be quit completely or be content to only play the lower levels of the game and never move beyond 'a certain point of frustration'.
