Not your typical hidden object game! April 16, 2008 Better than your ordinary hidden object game! The hidden object screens are challenging without being impossible, the puzzles are fun without being frustrating! Different, yet still simple fun. The storyline is almost secondary to the game itself. The real fun is in the rooms. Instead of just finding the objects themselves, you are actually hunting for "pieces" of objects. Sometimes, the pieces are locked inside larger objects and you must figure out how to unlock and apply the piece. Sometimes, in another room! It's not as difficult as it sounds and it's a lot of fun! I finished the game in less than a week because I played every spare chance I got because it was so much fun! HIGHLY Recommend!
Somethat Boring April 14, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The first level of this game is the tutorial, and you have no choice but to go through the tutorial. Once I reached the end of the game, I wanted to play it again and had to go through the tutorial again. This was very very annoying. Many hidden objects games will change the objects when you go through the game the second time, and change them again the third time, and so on. This game does not. I like to play these hidden objects games over and over, but I quickly memorized this one because the objects and their placement do not change. All in all a rather disappointing game.
Great hidden object game. April 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's a fun game! It was hard at first finding pieces of an object hidden the rooms. After a few times it was pretty easy though. I liked how you found items in one room that solved puzzles in another. Smart! I only wished that when you finished going through the house that the next time through was a harder level. But it wasn't. All in all...fun, fun game!
Booooo....I'm Scared April 2, 2008 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This game surprised me, I thought it was going to be a Disney type game coming from the Haunted Masnion side but it wasn't. This game made me feel like I was a little kid again in the doctors office playing the seek and find game in the Highlights magazine. It had great art work, multiple levels, and different style games. Hands-down, the best hidden objects game yet!
I Love This Game! February 27, 2008 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I love these kinds of search puzzle games. In fact, I'm addicted to them! I played Spooky Manor for the first time a few months ago and I loved it! I have since played it again and again and I still have a lot of fun playing it. The graphics are wonderful. The items to search for run the gamut from being easy to find to down right maddening to find. However there is an excellent help system in the game that keeps you from getting too frustrated. I would have liked the game to be longer, but I hear they are working on a sequel. I'm looking forward to playing that one too! So if you like the hide and seek type of PC game, I highly recommend Spooky Manor. I loved it!
