original Furby December 11, 2005 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
this Furby has never been played with or started.I got this Furby when it first came out. It was never taught how to talk English so it still talks the Furby Language. You can't find them any more just the newer ones are out now. This will make a great Christmas gift.
A good game to learn on for eye-hand coordination! January 18, 2005 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Greetings, and here is my nutshell review for the Furby CD-Rom. When I was a kid, I had no video games whatsoever. They were not allowed in my house. I did not play my first video game until I was in my mid-20's, but was not very good and so, gave up easily. When I got my first computer, somebody got me this game as kind of a gag gift...but, I really enjoyed it and was able to develop some good eye-hand coordination by playing it! It's quite fun, actually, and it has different activities such as designing your own Furby, playing with him/her in the clubhouse, and games such as flying thru the clouds (think of Aladdin's flying carpet), plopping all the Furbys into the rollercoaster so they can ride it (my favorite), dancing Furbys in a nightclub where you have to keep them dancing by clicking on the right color disco ball, and a neat maze game which I'm not real good at yet. There is also a scrapbook section which contains the original Furby poem which appeared on the back of the box of the toy when it first came out, and Furbish-to-English dictionary and phrasebook, games the toy will play, coloring pages to be printed, and color photos of some of the early Furbys in their various fur patterns, very collectable! I gave it 5 stars for playability, kitsch value, nostalgia trip, and the only caution would be: If you have Windows XP, when you install this game do not change your Direct X setup, skip that step. You might want to install it under Program Compatibility settings just to get it running. Windows 98 users: Make sure you have the right screen resolution settings for this game or it will not run properly! I have run this game on 2 different PC's so far....so good luck and have fun, thanks for reading my review!
It's fun, but there isn't that many games. July 5, 2004 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
It's a fairly decent game when it comes to size, but the fun-o-meter is set at 4 on a scale of one to ten. It has fun games, and the beanie wheather game is challenging. But there isn't very much to do, and there is only 4 games to play. Creating your own Furby is exciting, though. It even has inter-changable backgrounds! I was a little dissapointed though when I won all the games and beat my own high score, because after that there isn't much left to do except play and win the games all over again.
Ok, I guess June 14, 2000 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
This game is ok I guess, I played it at my cousin's house. It'sgood for small children. I think it's pretty annoying just like thereal thing. But kids seem to enjoy it.The design a furby is pretty cool you can choose from a varity or colors to color your furby. I didn't get a chance to play with the games. And basically with this game you take care of your furby like it was a pet!
