3 out of 5 stars Not bad   July 7, 2007

I'm a big fan of Sims. This expansion pack was great but it didn't amaze me like some others. The main idea of having the university is a great change to help you develop your Sims' skills, from Cooking, Cleaning, Logic and so on. It also ads a new phase or age into your Sims lives. Instead of moving from teenagers to adults, you'll have a young adult before the adulthood. but that happens only when you move them into college/university. There is one thing that I don't understand in it yet. You can join a "Greek House" at university. However, all I found during "trying" to join it was 4 mad people wearing Greek costumes. It was very annoying trying to follow them around and talking to them to impress them so they can accept me into their club. It was very dumb. Any how, I'd suggest another expantion pack rather than this one. Probably "Pets"

5 out of 5 stars Great Expansion Pack   May 16, 2007

I didn't think I was really interested in this particular expansion pack. But many of the downloads on TheSimsResources requires this pack, so I bought it for compatibility.

It's so much fun!! I like being in a house with lots of Sims to interact with, without being responsible for them. It's a great way to build up relationships that they take with them when they graduate. Plus they gain skills that they can use as well once they're done with college. Overall, I'm very pleased with this expansion pack.

5 out of 5 stars ITS WORTH IT!   April 24, 2007

This gane is worth your time and money. If you live in Brooklyn, this game might be a little togh to find.So order i from here.I just got it yesterday. Its great.New items such as pool tables, guitars, furniture, bass, and drums. All new young adult age group. You must be careful though not to fail 1 semester twice or else you get kicked out of college and into the real world where you sim transforms into an adult. The time in University is different form in the Sims 2 Original.Time goes by semesters instead of days.Finishing college takes alot of patience.

-THE DOWN SIDE

-Never save the game while your sim is on te cell phone. When you return to the game they will talk evry minute.Forever.Until they die.

-The commuity Lot takes long to load.

-Only two universities offer fraternities and colleges.

-You have to claim a dorm by clicking on the door of the dorm you want.If someone else claims it first then just click on their face on the left side of the screen. Click on their door and choose "Unclaim Room". If you do not control that Sim, then delete the door. However the cheat

boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true

must be typed into the cheat window fist. The cheat window is activated by pressing Ctrl,Shift, and C a the sme time.

-There are only three universities. However this can be changed by going to [...]

5 out of 5 stars Buy this! You need it!   March 30, 2007

This expansion pack for The Sims 2 is an essential. It allows you to send your sims to college and while there they not only gain mega loads of skill points but depending on what they major in, when they are adults they can go right into a career and don't have to start out at the beginning level! Just think. You had your toddler play with toys that earned him skill points. When he was a child you had him use the oven for little kids that gained him some cooking skill points. When he was a teenager you had him read books to gain skill points. Then when you send him to college he learns a bunch more. By the time that kid is an adult it is going to have a jump start and THEN SOME! It will totally kick butt in life and in it's career. College is also a great place to make friends! If you're in a dorm then tons of potential friends are around all the time. You don't have to call people over or go out. They're already there! Since friends are the other essential in zooming through the levels of a job to the top, this is another big plus. And don't even start me on explaining how helpful influence points are, which I believe you only have if you have this expansion pack. So, get this and be glad you did :)
