In Need Of Repair June 24, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
VHS To DVD is properly the worst of the capture edit software I have used. There is much freeware that is better. I really wasted my money on this one.

VHS to DVD Deluxe software review June 19, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
VHS to DVD Deluxe was easy to setup and start using immediately. I have been very pleased with the capture feature and editing feature.
Did not work at all June 15, 2008 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
This goofy software installed as a "trial version" only and constantly prompted me with nag screens to register after I'd already done so. After several attempts at installing, it only gave the "repair" option. Finally, after launching the "trial version" and getting a window to open, it didn't recognize the USB device and prompted me to install what it would not install. fuggeddaboutit....
Works as advertised May 15, 2008 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
Installed the software on my HP computer running Vista Home Premium Edition. Went to the web site to update patch. Plugged one end of the converter cables to my VCR and the other to my HP computer. Pushed "record" on the software menu and "play" on the VCR and after playing the tape, the video stored on my computer. Video resolution and audio quality are great. Used nominal CPU processing on my Intel Core Duo CPU. While I could have used the 3.0 software, I opted to use Windows Movie Maker to create menus, etc. and Windows DVD Maker to burn the DVD.
Capture device incompatible May 8, 2008 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
After much testing and several calls to Tech Support, I was told that the Honestech USB capture device is not compatible with some computers. I have a Soyo motherboard with Win XP. I was disappointed that it didn't work, because the package seemed just what I wanted. Tech Support helpful and polite.
