 Getting worse with every release April 23, 2008

I tend not to get too concerned when products get poor reviews since most do as those that are not satisfied are more likely to spend the time creating a review. How I wish I listened to all the negative reviews in this case. Installation was horrible on Vista Ultimate 64-bit...took long and seemed to die and do nothing for extended periods of time. Once installed the home page locked every time I launched and would ultimately end in a power cycle. Nearly every individual application with the Suite would also lock on the splash screen and require a power cycle. Figured the 700+ MB patch that had to fix something but so far I have yet to tell what. Sadly the first attmept to patch ran for hours before I stopped. When the second attempt finally finished I rebooted and attempted to burn an ISO but again it freezed up on the Roxio splash screen. This is easily the worst product I've had in recent years for stability and performance. Believe the reviews and avoid until Roxio/Sonic adds quality controls into their development cycle.
Calling for a RECALL! April 22, 2008
Roxio Creator 10 should be recalled by the manufacturer. I never could get it to install even after trying all of the tips and suggestions found online and on Roxio's website. I will never understand why this product was released to the public.

They advertise the Roxio deluxe 10 software but ship out the roxio suite 10 in its place which is a completely different, go and read there reviews see how they blame there customer for there errors

I was bit concerned after I read all the negative comments about this software. However, since I am a software engineer, I was up for the challenge. Before installation I finished my income taxes and backed up all my important data in case I need to restore the data. Finally, I installed Creator 10 Deluxe today. At first, I had a minor problem with the Dazzle DVC 100 Driver installation. It appeared that the installation did not do anything. I decided to reboot my computer and plug in the Dazzle DVC 100. At boot up, my computer recognized Dazzle DVC and it prompted me to install the driver so I installed the driver successfully. In short, the trick is if the Dazzle device driver installation program did not install, try to plug in your Dazzle DVC 100 and reboot. Follow up the screen for installation. After the Dazzle installation successful was being installed in my computer, I proceeded with Creater 10 Deluxe installation. It went smoothly without any problem.
To sum up, I don't think there is any problem with this software.
BE SURE to turn off your firewall and virus program. They may cause problems with installation.

Having used Roxio products before, I was expecting this product to have some flaws. I've used it for capturing video from my camcorder with the included Dazzle cable, and burning DVDs of that video. It works well. The capture doesn't experience any frame loss like that of previous Roxio versions. My experience was better than I expected.
