I purchased the 10 to replace my Roxio Media Creater 8. I only use the Videowave portion of the program. After several attempts, I was never able to get the Videowave program working. I emailed support and was given some suggestions until on the 3rd time, I received notice that my "ticket" was closed. I reopened and again got the same answer and a closed ticket. I reopened and stated I would like to get refund if they couldn't assit with problems. I was emailed to contact place I got it from for a refund and ticket closed. Program doesn't work, support is non-existence and Roxio obviously doesn't care.

I've owned quite a few versions of Roxio's CD writing software. Most of the time I buy it with the hope that the next version will solve the previous version's problems that I've had. Well, I have to tell you that once again, I've been really disappointed. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AGAINST BUYING THIS SOFTWARE!!! (Actually I wouldn't even recommend trying it on your computer (demo version) because I have had nothing but problems on my system even after I uninstalled it.
P.S. I have had real issues with Vista 64bit.

This is seriously the worst product I have ever purchased in my entire life. Roxio should be sued for selling this junk. I purchased this locally for $129 and I hope I can still get my money back. What's wrong with the program? It took a solid 30 minutes to install (and later uninstall) this software, even though it only consists of one CD. This should have been my first red flag. Next, I opened up the video capturing tool and again, the program crawls at a snail's pace. Expect 45 to 60 second load times just to open up a simple program. Things got worse when I plugged in the Dazzle capture card and attempted a video capture from a VHS tape. The program locked up on me six times in a row. Finally, after using Windows Movie Maker and the Dazzle card to capture some video, I decided to give the program one more try by using the video editing tool. I couldn't even OPEN the program because it tells me my $300 video card doesn't meet requirements (even though it far exceeds all requirements for this) and it tells me I need to install Direct X 9.0, which I've been running on my PC for the past two years!!! I can't express this enough, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS JUNK!!!

Having used versions 4 through 7.5, I know that the features of the program could be useful. However, since version 8 the program has been a nightmare and I have had to reinstall Windows XP more than once due to this program. In addition, I have one hard drive unusable at all after using the Roxio zap tool as instructed by their 'techs.' Truthfully tech support is all but non existent and useless to say the least. In fact, I found their advice very harmful.
Roxio is one of the most callus companies on the internet.
STAY AWAY FROM SONIC/ROXIO AT ALL COSTS!

Do not buy this software - it is the worst of it's kind I have ever used. If you are lucky enough for it to even install you'll find most attempts to even launch the apps fail.
I am NEVER buying anything from Roxio again - this is tripe.
Try Nero V7 or V8 if you want to burn/copy DVDS and CDs
