Look Around for a Different Font Product April 2, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The previous reviewer is correct that each font is just a slight variation of the other font. I have another issue with this product though...the install for this product is horrible. You have to manually install each individual font!! That's right click on install 3,500 times:) You might be thinking well there must be an install all button, select all, or drag and drop to your font folder but nope that's not how it works in ClickArt Land. And if you want to uninstall it doesn't come with an uninstaller you have to manually do this as well. This is done by going to Windows (if using Windows) File Explorer and delete the font from the front folder.
Also, the packaging shows all these very pretty artistic fonts with color called "unique and creative". Well you have to manually color these fonts by opening up the product in software like Paint Shop Pro or Adobe Photoshop and then color them yourself. I would have much rather had a pre-colored version as the packaging shows. This might be nice for folks who want to tailor the font colors for these creative fonts but for someone like me who just wants something quick and dirty this isn't what I was expecting. Needless to say I will be returning this product.
Click Art Fonts October 6, 2006 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
Never have I had such high expectations and been so disappointed! This product is disastrously poor. Save your money. Out of 3500 fonts I found exactly two that I thought I could use...and they weren't anything special. There is not a script in the lot and no decorative. Each font is a slight variation of another one. Even the handwriting fonts are bad...they, again, are just slight variations on another. I can't think that Broderbund can remain in business for very long with such a terribly poor product. Other reviewers are correct is saying that Click Art fonts are a waste of money, they are.
