stupid interface, won't work on os x August 1, 2008 On OS X 10.3, it worked when we installed it and has refused to run since then. No customer support we can find. I don't feel bad criticizing them because encoresoftware.com, listed in their troubleshooting guide, isn't even on the web any more. Why are they selling this crap in the Apple Store?
And the interface design is laughably bad. It took us quite a while to find the lessons--they're under "Typing Tournament"
won't run on current Mac OS X 10.5.1 (Leopard) December 23, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Couldn't get it to run AT ALL on recently purchased MacBook with 2GB of RAM and updated OS.
Excellent January 11, 2007 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
sponge bob is currently popular with the kids and this utilises that to help educate them, great
A fun typing game January 9, 2007 My eight year old daughter loves this game. This game teachs kids enough basic skills of typing but parents still need to be involved to make sure the kids use the right fingers.
annoying sounds distract from lessons July 8, 2006 5 out of 9 found this review helpful
Even if the lessons are well arranged, my 7-year old refused to progress past lesson 3 - the sounds are "baby-ish" and "annoying" and if you turn them off, you lose the benefit of the instruction. You're basically stuck with the sound track and may be forced, like me, to look for another typing software...
