The Invincible Iron Man: The Complete Collection November 24, 2007 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
If you can get this collection do not hesitate. I am really glad I found these products before it was too late. Because Marvel is going to rent there digital comics on there website they did not renew the contract with GIT corp and after the end of the year, no more will be made.
Latest entry in Marvel Comics Complete collections November 14, 2007 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
An exploding bomb leaves apiece of shrapnel dangerously close to the heart of Tony Stark. Captured and helpless he is told by an evil warlord that the shrapnel will only be removed if a new weapon is developed. Instead Tony secretly builds a suit of iron armor that would protect his heart as well as defeat the evil warlord and escape. So begins 45 years of comic book adventures, all of which are included on one dvd rom! I have purchased the other marvel collections (Spider-Man, Hulk, FF4 with silver surfer, x-men, Avengers,Ghost rider, and Captain America) and to own every issue for less than fifty bucks....WOW!!! These are scans of the original comics, all that is missing, is the old paper smell! I find myself enjoying the old ads (xray glasses for a buck anyone?) as much as the old storys. It's great to be able to read these from start to...well I am only uo to the 1970s ...and its a great way to go back in time. I am able to copy the discs on my laptop, so my collections go anywhere I want, beats lugging a box of comics around! There is a Daredevil and Thor collections due out early 2008.
A lot of comics but one major flaw October 31, 2007 7 out of 14 found this review helpful
A lot of great comics but the omission of the Iron Man Sub-Mariner one shot that connects Tales of Suspense 99 to Iron Man #1 is a big disappointment.
