Unbelievable altenative to Word, Power Point & Excel. Easily produce professional documents in a flash! Open Word, Excel, and Power Point docs, make them look fabulous with iWork and then save back to Word, Excel & Power Point to impress your Windows loving friends. They'll wonder how you produced such beautiful looking stuff and want to know how you did it! Mac products ROCK!

Being a mac fan - I look forward to new versions of software that comes out and enjoy finding productive and fun ways to use the software - Apple did not disappoint with this version - the Numbers application is a great budgeting program and with all the new features - its a great whole package!

It's great to see the update of Pages and Keynote. They both come with more functionality and with the same elegant style that comes with all of the Apple's software and hardware. I'm also elated to have Numbers 08 which I think is a very simple program to use, especially for people new to spreadsheet layout. These programs can only get better with time.

I bought the 06 version and loved it.
I downloaded the trial version for 08 to see if it is worth the new price, afterall, I bought the 06 just not so long ago (maybe less than 3 months).
The new Numbers and Pages are just wonderful. It is so much more intuitive than MS Office. I have the Office for Mac and I have been using Office in Windows for the past 10 years. But ever since I started using Pages and Keynote, and now Numbers, I have to say hands down, iWork 08 is near perfection for 99.9% of all office needs.
I wish there were even more templates for all three apps. But with the included templates, one could modify them to create new templates fairly easy and quick.
My trial period is coming to an end in a couple of weeks. I will buy the iWork 08 for sure.
