My IT consultant suggested this product almost a year ago but I didn't install until an upgrade of Symantec in December 07 caused my entire system to become unstable and System Restore somehow wouldn't recognize the change. I uninstalled Symantec, installed Kaspersky and have never been happier. It works flawlessly.

1) I have loaded this product on a Thinkpad running W2k. It has slowed the processor to a crawl.
2) Experienced issues with automatic updates after the initial install. A helpful hint from another user prodded me into re-installing. This reset the user-id / password to the defaults and the product functions well now. It still slows the OS to a crawl.
Would now recommend this product if you are patient, or are computer savvy for the install, and own a faster processor.

I always have wondered why Kaspersky is not in the top rated softwares for security. I like everything about Kaspersky. Yup there is a learning curve with the software, but once it learns what you want and like, it just keeps everything right, as it will challenge and ask me how I want to proceed. Within one week my internet security was finding trojans and other slimy things to eradicate. Don't ya just like the porker sound effects when it destroys the bad guys?
