Good bibliographic library May 16, 2007

I have used Procite for over 15 years, and maintain a technical bibliography of over 16,000 entries. Searches are fast and accurate, and entries are easy. I only rate it 3 stars because it connects to Word 2003 with difficulty, and cannot be used with Word 2007. They do not indicate that they will upgrade to full Vista compatibility.
Good for organizing a data base July 31, 2006

Procite 5 is good for organizing a personal data base but not that great for writing a manuscript when you use APA syle. The program underlines titles and journal volumes rather than italicizes them as is required now. Furthermore, when you generate a bibliography at the end of a manucript, it skips a line after each entry rather than double spacing all the way through. The program also did not link to my word processing program (microsoft word 2003) as stated. I had to call tech support to copy and paste some files to do this.
