Excellent software! January 31, 2006 22 out of 22 found this review helpful
I bought MS FrontPage 2003 about a month ago, to create a website for a friend starting his own company. I have never used any kind of software to create a website before. When I got FrontPage, it was easy to install onto the computer, and was pretty easy to use. It has a help section where you can ask any kind of question, if you're stuck about a particular feature, or how to insert something onto a web page.
FrontPage automatically configures files and optional page set-ups if you want to use them, and also gives you the option to put hyperlinks in to connect your buttons to the pages.
When I first started creating the website I needed to make, I knew NOTHING about it. I was able to create a 13-page website, with banners, interactive buttons, text, hyperlinks, a contact us form, and many other features, all within 3 weeks' time. I did not even KNOW what a hyperlink was until I started working with this software.
FrontPage has some of the same features as MS Word, so it might be somewhat familiar to you if you want to create a website on your own. If I can go from knowing nothing about website creation to being able to create a professional looking website in about 3 weeks, you can too!
This is the best January 28, 2006 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
MS Front Page has taken a lot of knocks from snobbish web site designers who like to write their own code by hand. Granted, there are other web page design programs with more sophistication, but I think FP stands up against them all in terms of ease of use and suppport. I use it with "The Complete Web Hosting Kit Professional" and host my own web site on my own PC without paying monthly hosting fees. FrontPage makes updating and saving pages a snap. Because I'm hosting my own site, as soon as I save a page to my hard drive, it's "live" on the web.
VERY GOOD!!!! December 1, 2005 18 out of 21 found this review helpful
I'm Jack Pace. I'm 13 Years old and i can even work it. This Program is great but it has some downpours. some positive aspects are that it is very easy to opperate. if you don't know HTML which is the basic code for websites you can jact click on the design icon and type in the content that you need. After you do that you can click on the HTML icon and it transfers what you wrote in to HTML. Some negitave aspects is that it can freez up a lot. But that is the only bad thing

I found the program easy to use in creating a new web page and in uploading the pages to the web site.
Good but has problems October 3, 2005 18 out of 21 found this review helpful
I found using this manageable but even though I tested the web site on different browsers in my computer and it seemed fine, it breaks up on various browsers in different computers. I used the template.
