4 out of 5 stars Fun   September 27, 2007
It's a lot of fun and it's nice you can trade lives when you fail level a few times. Some of the puzzles are really tough to get right!

4 out of 5 stars Jewel Quest   September 23, 2007
The puzzles are challenging enough to hold my interest and I enjoy them. The puzzles take much concentration to complete within time frame. I play this game almost nightly for at least 2 puzzle screens to clear my mind.

4 out of 5 stars Fun game - a lot like Bejeweled   August 5, 2007
I haven't stopped to read the comments between levels, but the game is fun. One session (multiple levels) will keep me busy for close to an hour. I'll have to stop and read what it says some time. There are differences with Bejeweled that make it more challenging. My family is having a fun time with it.

5 out of 5 stars Fun, but frustrating at times....   August 3, 2007
I thoroughly enjoy this game. I got hooked on "Bedazzled Deluxe 2" and so got "Jewel Quest" as a variation on a theme. The graphics are nice, and I enjoy the way that the idols change color as you complete the various levels. The explorer's notes make the game more fun and interesting, too. This IS a puzzle-sequencing game, so the levels do get more difficult as you progress, and each level needs to be completed within a specific time-frame or you have to do it over again until you complete it. After a few tries, you can give up a "life" in order to just progress to the next level. This is where I, personally, find the game frustrating. I'd rather just be able to keep playing without getting "kept back" for lack of completing a level on time. I also wish that you had the option of going all the way back to Level 1 so that you could just "start over," but you can't. You can make up another user name and begin again, though. I DO like this game, and do recommend it to anyone who enjoys the jewel-matching type of play. I also HIGHLY recommend that you try the new "7 Wonders of the Ancient World." It is similar to "Jewel Quest," but more entertaining as you "re-build" each of the "Wonders" with your little crew of "workers" running around at the bottom of the playing area while the "Wonder" is being re-built off to the left!

5 out of 5 stars Maddening But Fun!   August 2, 2007
This is a fun, entertaining game, even though it can be a little maddening at times! I've yet to beat it, but I'm having fun trying. Unfortunately, it's also a bit addictive! Have fun!
